 The dispute is in regard to the sources of this propheticsunnah.

Both the Shi`ites and Sunnis have narrated the well-knowntradition intheir books in which the Holy Prophet (s.w.) said, "I amleaving with youtwo weighty things (Thaqalayn); if you adhered tothem, you won't bemisguided at all.

 They are the Book of Allahand my family.

 They won'tseparate from each other until theyarrive to me near the Pool.

"All sects have agreed on the chain of this hadith.

 Ibn Hajar, aSunninarrator, has said, "This tradition has been conveyed bymore than 20companions.
